Information
The Company provides information on the goods and its services in good faith. Errors and omissions on listings may be corrected by the Company. The customer may cancel the order with the Company and obtain a full refund if they have relied upon the error or omission.
Placing an Order
By submitting a completed order the Customer shall be deemed as placing an order with the Company. The Company shall confirm acceptance of the Customer's Order via confirmation of purchase, otherwise by email confirmation or in writing.
The Company will supply the Goods to the Customer in accordance with the Customer's completed order. The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply orders but this does not affect the Customer's statutory rights.
Cancellation of Orders
Customers have the right to withdraw from the contract within the 14 day cooling-off period.
In addition The Customer may cancel the order within 14 days of delivery and must provide written details to the Company of the order. All returns shall be sent to the Company’s registered address. This returns policy does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights. Refunds will be made to the customer’s original payment method such as their Paypal account unless otherwise agreed between the customer and the Company. Refunds will be processed within 5 days on receipt of returned Goods or the customer providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.
Price and Delivery Charges
The price of the goods will be that indicated at the time of placing the order and will include Value Added Tax at the appropriate rate if applicable. Where applicable VAT receipts will be supplied by the Company on written request. Delivery charges (usually for post and packing) will be as advised at the time of placing the order.
Delivery will normally be made by Royal Mail however the Company reserves the right to use other methods of delivery as it deems appropriate or as agreed with the customer.
Dispatch and Delivery
We aim to dispatch smaller goods as quickly as possible, usually within three working days from receipt of your order. Please allow 7 working days for delivery. Some deliveries may require a signature.
We use a range of both private and national courier services, as well as Royal Mail, to meet a wide variety of delivery requirements.
We aim to dispatch all furniture items within 7 days subject to arranging a convenient time for delivery. The courier charge includes delivery to the door of your property and our courier is not obliged to move furniture to the room it is intended for. On receipt of your order, we will contact you via email to discuss delivery dates and timings.
Your order will normally be dispatched to the address you have advised us of within the timescale specified in the product listing. Any delivery dates quoted will be approximate and are given in good faith and the Company will not be liable for any reasonable delay however caused.
Overseas delivery times will vary and you should allow up to 21 days for delivery.
We will advise you if a product is out of stock and will suggest an alternative product if one is available. Delivery charges will be as indicated on the product listing and will be advised at the time of ordering. If the Customer fails to take delivery of the Goods or gives the Company incorrect delivery instructions then the Company may store the Goods until delivery is made and charge the Customer for its reasonable costs of re-delivery. The Company shall not owe the Customer any duty of care in this event.
Returns
Business returns policy From the 13th June 2014 Your purchases are protected by the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which implement the Consumer Rights Directive in UK law. If you wish to return your purchase please notify us as soon as possible and return within 14 days after receiving your item. Before returning an item please email or contact us for a return number . Please be sure to include your original invoice for this item for clarity or a note containing your name so that we can refund you. We regret that associated return postage costs are non refundable.
While we hope that you will be delighted with your order, we do understand that there are occasions when you may wish to return an item. We will be happy to offer you an exchange or refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and with the original packaging. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. We recommend that you use insured registered delivery and keep the receipt. Please ensure all items are wrapped securely as we cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. Delivery charges to and from the delivery address are the customer’s responsibility and will not be refunded unless the goods are faulty or not as described. Any items returned for refund/exchange must be returned within 7 days of receipt. A refund will be issued to your payment method within 5 working days of the item being received in accordance with the above.
Risk and Title
The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer on delivery or in the event of delivery not being able to be made as a consequence of fault, negligence or omission on the customer’s part at the date delivery which would have been made in the absence of this fault, negligence or omission. Title to the goods remains with the Company until the Company has received cleared funds of the total contracted amount.
Warranties, Liability and Indemnity
The Company warrants that all Goods will correspond with the Order/product description at the date of dispatch and will be free from defects at the time of delivery if the product is described as new. In the event that the Company is in breach of this clause the customer shall advise the Company in writing as soon as possible and in any event not later than 14 days after delivery other than when the defect was not apparent upon reasonable inspection. The Company will replace the defective goods or refund the price of the goods that are defective and this will be the extent of the Company’s liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Web Site or any information contained therein. Users/customers should be aware that they use the Web Site and its Content at their own risk.
We are not responsible for poor fitting/positioning of furniture resulting in damage or personal injury. Care must be taken when placing larger items in situ that they are secure.
Every effort has been made to ensure that these terms and conditions adhere strictly with the relevant provisions of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. However, in the event that any of these terms are found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, that term is to be deemed severed from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions. This term shall apply only within jurisdictions where a particular term is illegal.
Goods exported outside of the United Kingdom
The Customer shall be responsible for complying with any legislation or regulation governing the importation of the Goods into the country of destination and for the payment of any applicable duties.
Use of Goods and Our products
The very nature of The Source is to offer items that are unique, preloved, preowned and new. If you are not content with your purchase you can return your item for a refund. Please contact us in the first instance to start the return process.
WARNING: Choking hazard- Some of our products contain small parts and detachable pieces which are not suitable for children . Some Products are also dispatched in plastic packaging and should not be left with children unsupervised.
